You must complete the 1023-EZ eligibility worksheet to determine if you can file Form 1023-EZ.

If you say “No” to all the worksheet questions, you may apply using Form 1023-EZ.

Please DO NOT purchase the package until you have completed the 1023-EZ eligibility worksheet.

You must provide a copy of your answers when placing your order.

If your nonprofit meets the eligibility requirements to file Form 1023-EZ, we will prepare and file your Articles of Organization / Certificate of Formation with your State's Secretary of State / Corporation Division. (State filing fees not included).

Once your nonprofit is created, we will apply for your Employer Identification Number (EIN).

We will prepare your Bylaws and Conflict of Interest Policy documents.

The 501c3 Application is completed directly in your Pay.gov account (*if you don't already have an account, one will be created on your behalf).

You will then log in to your account, pay, and submit the Application directly to the IRS.

Do you have any questions?
  • Are the State filing fees included in the package price?
    No. The filing fee for the Articles of Organization / Certificate of Formation is paid directly to the State upon filing.
  • What is the cost / user fee to file the 1023_EZ form?
    The user fee is $275.
  • How long does the 501(3)(c) filing process take?
    Approval takes up to 90 days of submitting the EZ.
  • What happens if I answer YES on the worksheet?
    If you answer "YES" to any of the worksheet questions, you are NOT eligible to apply for exemption under section 501(c)(3) using Form 1023-EZ. You MUST apply on Form 1023.

Key Points to Note:

The 1023 EZ form is concise, at just 3 pages, and approval can take up to 90 days after submission. 

Expedited processing requests from the state are not available with the EZ form. 

A user fee of $275 applies when submitting the EZ form. 

Organizations expecting to gross more than $50,000 annually in any of the first 3 years, as well as hospitals/clinics, churches, schools, or entities providing financial literacy, must file the full 1023 application. 

Please note, that we do not offer services for the full 1023 application.

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement and understanding between you and us regarding the supply of the downloadable digital product(s) and shall supersede any prior agreements, whether made in writing, orally, implied, or otherwise.
